Westcoasting (Shipbrokers) was established in 1980 as a company exclusively working the sale & purchase market of Dutch fishingvessels, newbuilding contracting, and consulting. Westcoasting (Shipbrokers) has built up a very good reputation in the sale & purchase market of Dutch Beamtrawlers. During the above period more than 300 ex-Dutch beamers sold through the intermediary of Westcoasting (Shipbrokers) have found their way to England, Scotland, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Greece, Portugal, West- and South Africa and South America. The transactions never restricted theirselves to the bargain, the Westcoasting (Shipbrokers) staff is giving a 24 hours/ 7 days a week service, which gives the guarantee that every single problem will be solved quickly. The technical department of Westcoasting (Shipbrokers) is also standby 24 hours a day to solve any technical problem and to order spareparts, which parts can be flown out within 6 hours after ordering.
Furthermore a joint venture with Messrs. Stolk/De
Branding of IJmuiden/Holland resulted early 1996 in an off-shoot called
Branding Offshore Services (BOS), (whereby in January 2002 the shares held in
the joint venture by Messrs. Stolk/De Branding were taken over by
"Landfall" Transport & Towage BV of Sliedrecht/Holland) which
company operates 2 Offshore Supply Vessels and 1 'Stand-by' vessel which
are world-wide operated, as a result of this a towage, chartering and salvage
department was opened late 1996.
