Vessel built to German Lloyds Class + 100 A4 (E) for worldwide operations and specially designed for servicing oil drilling rigs, having twin screws with Kort Nozzles, twin rudders and bow thrust unit.
Vessel is equipped for towing and anchor handling and has an indicated HP of 2615 with a bollard pull of 28 tons.

Anchors and cables:

Two 907 kg (2,000 lbs) bow anchors each with 349 (1,146 ft) of 32 mkm (1 1/4") steel chain cable. One 907 kg (2,000 lbs) spare anchor.

Deck machinery:

3 tons S.W.L. deck winch is situated amidships.

Combined heavy duty anchor and towing winch:

A double drum 80 tons S.W.L. heavy duty winch is fitted together with pendant wires, towing wires, nylon stretcher, etc.

Tow bars:

Portable tow bars are supplied for use when towing.

Bollard pull:

28 tons (30.8 sht/tons)

Stern roller:

A heavy duty 120 tons (264,000 lbs) S.W.L. 1.52 m (5 ft) diameter stern roller is fitted. Stern opening of 6 m (19 ft 8 ins) is made up of 2.95 m (9 ft 8 ins) roller and aprons of similar diameter to enable heavy anchors to be pulled on deck without the use of an A-frame.

A-Frame:

Footings for installation of an A-frame are provided.

Propulsion:

Two MwM TB 12 RS 18/22 diesel engines are fitted, giving a total of 1900 BHP continuous ratings and 2090 BHP of maximum rating.

Auxiliaries:

Three generators driven by seperate engines producing each 112 KW 220/380 volt AC 50 cycles.

Bow thrust unit:

In the forepart of the vessel there us a transverse Tornado type bow thrust unit installed driven by electric motor with an output of 200 BHP giving a maximum thrust of 2,5 tons (5,500 lbs).
